M.U. – The Best of Jethro Tull, released in , is the first proper greatest hits album by Jethro clarversbrixmicfiruff.panklitumbbanexmarophedafverssincren.co spans the years to The earlier Living in the Past () compilation mainly dealt with non-album material, but this album only features one previously unreleased song, "Rainbow Blues". "M.U." in the album title stood for "Musician's Union", which is probably a reference to Genre: Progressive rock. Reply

If you are a fan or prospective fan today, the best way to acquire most of the non-album tracks in one simple solution is to get a hold of Living In The Past, which for today's Tull buyers can serve as a compilation of all the rare pre-Aqualung material and that is so good it sounds almost like a fifth Jethro Tull studio album/5(). Apr 28,  · My question is WHY is this not included in the list of Jethro Tull music? TO answer my own question, it is because the entries are not labeled correctly. Between pages 2 and 3 I counted 30+ versions of "Living In The Past". The LP is listed in the list but under Singles and EP and not under LP where it belongs/5(). Reply

May 16,  · Note that this is very similar to Living In The Past. The only difference is found on labels which have (TUL/2/3/4) with parentheses. Living In The Past has TUL/2/3/4 without parentheses. Original UK press released with the green Chrysalis labels. Released in a leather effect gatefold sleeve with 22 page booklet stapled to the inside/5(). Reply

I choose M.U. because it gathers some fine songs I like a lot; but as always, when somebody selects a "Best of", it doesn't meant its "the best". You can get -or better- pick up the songs you wanted (as "Aqualung") but you always be wishing for another one you'd like to be included. Nevertheless this selection works fine/5(13). Reply
