This is Madonna's debut album and boy what a debut! Fantastic pop classic, well recommended. Its got the hit singles: borderline, holiday and lucky star. Burning up is one of my favourite tracks from the album. Great pop music and perfect for summer!/5(). Reply

She referred to herself as the "lucky star", unlike the lyrical meaning of the song. "Borderline" was the fifth single from the album, and was released on February 15, In the US the song was released before "Lucky Star" and became Madonna's first top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot , peaking at ten.
